The Rathcoola Residency is open to writers and artists of all ages who are citizens of either Australia or New Zealand and who are resident there.

The accommodation is suitable for a single person or a couple. Residents will need to supply their own specialist equipment.

It is expected that residents will have a record of excellent achievement in their art form and this, together with the statement in the application form about why a residency at Rathcoola will be valuable, is an especially important part of the submission.

The Trust is not obliged to return applications or support material. The material of successful applicants will be kept by the Trust for its records.

Each applicant will receive an email acknowledgement that his or her application has been received and a letter stating the outcome of the application. No further correspondence will be entered into.

The residencies may be applied for more than once but held for one six month period only.
